HUMTC First Annual Friends-giving!

How it works:  

To celebrate Thanksgiving this year HUMTC is going to organize a Friends-Giving for our Members.  You must be a full Member of HUMTC to participate in this event (not a Preview Member or Facebook-only follower).  Friends-Giving is when a few members who are cooking Thanksgiving Dinner at home offer to Host a small number of Guest members who would otherwise not get to enjoy a turkey day dinner.

Hosts:

We need a few members to volunteer to be Hosts who are local and planning to cook on Thanksgiving and have extra room at their table.  Please RSVP and let us know that you can host and how many guests you can accommodate.  It doesn't have to be a lot - even if you just have 2 extra seats at your dining table that's enough!  If you can seat more, even better!

Guests:

If you are staying local for Thanksgiving and looking for some humanist holiday camaraderie and a nice home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner please RSVP and let us know that you'd like to be a Guest.  Also let us know a head count if you have a spouse or kids you'd like to bring along.  And please list any dietary restrictions/allergies.

When we have a better idea of the response to this we will pair up Hosts and Guests based on location and head-count!  Let's make this a special Thanksgiving for all of our members, including those without local family to celebrate with!
